Water Polo Doldrums

Not much wp so we'll be updating the blog once or twice a week until things pick up.

None the less feel free to send us your graduation photos, info on academic honors, athletic banquet pics, summer travel plans relating to wp, prom photos and decisions on college or career choices regardless of whether or not you continue to play water polo. We will gladly post all.

Also as the Khalil Twins did, if you're seeking employment in a specific area let us know and we'll post the info for you.

Family Affair: Miami Herald's 2013 Players & Coaches of the Year

Named last week at the Herald's Awards Breakfast:

Coaches:

Michael Goldenberg
Denise Isreals

Players:

Eric Goldenberg
Caroline Isreals

*** This award ceremony is a great idea & fun for the kids but naming the coaches & players of the year at this time is beyond stupid. Almost no one knows who wins because there is never a follow up article in the Herald.

Why not keep it simple like the Sentinel does and publish the names & pics with the rest of the team members??

UPDATED AGAIN: SNEAK PREVIEW

LOCKED DOWN: Palm Beach County

Congratulations to Palm Beach County on being the first county from the tri-county area to have all their high school & club teams participating with the SoFlo Water Polo Blog.

After a little over 2 years in blogdom we at SFWP-Blog are thrilled to have 100% cooperation from an entire county.

Broward County is second with roughly 75% participation with the only major player missing being the St. Thomas Aquinas Girls Team.

Dade County is a distant third at roughly 35% participating with major player Gulliver Prep Boys & Girls Teams missing.
